Help for Wounded Officer

Hi, my name is Tim Jung and I am starting this fund raiser to benefit San Antonio, TX police officer (SAPD) Rhett Shoquist who was shot in the line of duty on August 24th this year. Rhett is a third generation law enforcement officer following in the footsteps of his grandfather retired DEA ASAC Milton Shoquist (deceased) and his father retired SAPD officer Wayne Shoquist.

Rhett and other members of the SAPD SWAT unit were attempting to arrest a violent felon who had several felony warrants for his arrest. During the course of the operation the offender shot and wounded three SAPD officers including Rhett. Rhett was shot in the face resulting in the loss of his right eye. Rhett has undergone two surgeries to date to repair the damage to his face and place a prosthetic eye. Rhett has a wife and two children who depend on his income. Please help Rhett so that the various expenses related to his recovery will not become a financial burden he and his family needs to worry about.
