Help single father of an autistic child

I am a veteran and father of a wonderful non-verbal autistic son. I am humbly requesting funds to support immediate care needs and legal services. My ex-wife unexpectedly and without warning backed out of her parental responsibilities and has stated she has no intentions of returning to support our son. As a result, this has required me to temporarily leave my job as a truck driver as I scramble to get long term support for Freddy, secure an attorney to restructure our divorce agreement, and attend to his daily needs. My company has been extremely supportive and graciously provided me with unpaid leave as I work to resolve this personal crisis. Prior to this event, my son received part time in home care and was home schooled by my ex wife during the week and on weekends by me. I must now provide 24 hour care until I can work with providers to restructure Freddy’s support. I am currently working to enroll Freddy in an appropriate full time school program, which I was notified today may take several weeks. I am also exploring alternative work options with my company and exploring work-from-home solutions to ensure we can meet our basic needs in the long term. Acquiring proper legal support will enable me to adjust the existing divorce decree and custody agreement so that I may shift funds to directly support my son. Freddy is the light of my life and I am working full tilt to ensure I meet his needs now and into the future. For these reasons, I humbly ask for any donations you may offer as we work through this difficult time as father and son.
