I’m just checking in with an update I got from Andy today! He’s still working, driving an old Mercedes Sprinter van from a town 3 hours into Ukraine to a refugee camp in Poland filled with ten people each trip. He says the refugees are coming primarily from Karkev and Mariupol.
They have plenty of food, water, clothes and medicine. They could use another bus, drivers and money for fuel. Though he said every time he goes to pay for a fill-up, one of the guys had received money that they can use from Gofundme or PayPal!
He said the stories are absolutely heartbreaking, he told me today, he’s never felt so called to a purpose. He’s working with a group of young men, mostly from different churches who came to pitch in from all over Europe and one from the US. He sleeps in a church every night and is fed by the parish. He’s eating a lot of borscht!

Today, he had a fifteen-year-old boy trying to find his mother and a man with MS in need of the wheelchair that he had. He said he prays with everyone he transports. He sees mostly mothers with children, the elderly and the disabled.
He’s hoping to take a break later this week; his body is a bit worn out. Please keep Andy and his rag-tag crew of drivers in your prayers!
