Hi, my name is Ulli Schlapka, and like a lot of you, I'm concerned with the actual situation in Ukraine. My husband's grandpa was from Ukraine, and last week, we were able to help extended family members get to Munich.

We are happy they found a safe place here.

There are still so many more who need help. That's why I volunteer in our community kitchen. We deliver food to incoming Ukrainian refugees at the central station in Munich.

To be able to help even more refugees, I started this GoFundMe page. Hundreds of women and their children are stranded in Munich and currently placed in shelters. Through my volunteer work, I have a lot of touchpoints with refugees, and I would like to provide help where it's the most needed at the moment.
