Help for the Wolfert family

Hello to my friends and family,

As many of you know, my stepson and his wife are expecting a baby boy., William Henry Wolfert. Baby Henry was originally due on May 5th. My sweet daughter in law, Icy, has had an extremely difficult and complicated pregnancy. She has dealt with low blood pressure, seizures and around the clock nausea and vomiting for the last 6 months. On top of her difficult pregnancy, her and Anthoney were suddenly forced to relocate from their home. They have both been extremely stressed about Icy’s health and also concerned about finding a rental with our housing crisis in Pagosa.

In the early morning hours of Thursday 1/27, Icy’s water broke, 14 weeks early. Anthoney and Icy rushed to Durango where the Drs quickly decided that she would need to be immediately flown to Denver Presbyterian hospital due to the seriousness of the situation. The current goal is for Henry to be able to stay put until Icy is 34 weeks. At that point, his lungs would be developed and other high risks of having him so early would be less risky. The chances of Icy making it to 34 weeks are low, but thankfully for modern medicine and the specialized Dr’s in Denver, it is a possibility.

I am here to humbly ask for help for my dear step son, daughter in law, and baby grandson on the way. This was obviously completely unexpected and we know there will be many financial burdens placed on this new family. I would like to raise as much money as possible for the costs of medical care, necessities for baby, traveling, food, and living costs while in Denver for Anthoney and Icy. There are many unknowns at this point, but Anthoney is not able to work since he will be so far from home. Icy has been working minimally due to her health. I would like them to be able to focus primarily on their baby on the way and not be so concerned with financial aspects, as they have a long road ahead of them.
