Hi! I am requesting financial support for an amazing family in Playa Gigante, Nicaragua.

The Obando family (Walter and Maria) ran the Nica Surf lodge for years. After a series of tragedies, including Walter's death a few years ago, Maria has been the sole income earner in their family.

Maria has been running the fishing boats Walter once took care of to keep their family afloat and their kids in school.

They have now had a severe motor breakdown, and their fishing boat is not currently running, costing the family their primary source of income.

The boat requires $1500 USD of repairs for new parts to the motor to get it back up and running.

The family has reached out for much-needed support, which is a challenging step!

Please support and give back to this family that has given so much to so many visitors in Southern Nicaragua.
