Help for the Fewell Children

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden passing of Hal Fewell. On February 20th, with no warning, Hal collapsed of cardiac arrest at his home in Knoxville and passed away later that evening. Hal was only 58 years old.

l have known Hal for decades. He loved the sun, fitness and his dog Maximus. Hal was a major advocate for Down's Syndrome and worked from home so he could spend more time with his greatest loves of all - his children. The children have been estranged from their mother for years and Hal was the ONE consistent protector in their lives. Now that he is gone, they need our help.

Gabrielle is 26 and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. She needs our prayers as she assumes her new role of sole caregiver to her younger siblings.

Geronimo is 24 and so much like his father… always making people smile and laugh and a hard worker.

Gershona is 19 and a senior at Hardin Valley Academy. She is happy and generous and has the most beautiful soul.

Gidon is 18 and a senior at Hardin Valley Academy with plans of welding school in his future.

Golda is sweet 16 and will never let you out of her sight without telling you she loves you. She is a freshman and Hardin Valley Academy.
