Help for the family of Bear Heart
Donation protected
Beloved Muskogee-Creek elder Marcellus “Bear Heart” Williams’ book, The Wind Is My Mother, The Life and Teachings of a Native American Shaman, has brought inspiration to thousands around the world.
Unfortunately, Bear Heart died without leaving a will and, despite his wishes, his royalties are not going to his family. Funds are being raised to hire an attorney to correct this. His family has been struggling financially for many years and receiving future book royalties, or recouping what has already been lost, would greatly benefit them.
I know times are particularly hard now, but I hope you will consider a donation of any size. They all count: $5, $10, or whatever.
These funds will be used to pay the attorney who will work to return past and future book royalties to the family, which is want Bear Heart wanted. When legal fees are covered, the fundraiser will end, and you will learn the outcome.
To donate, please click the link below. And please feel free to share on social media and with your friends.
Thank you for your support. We wouldn’t be able to accomplish this goal without you.
