Help The Bilberry Family

Donation protected
In February, our dear friend Kathryn Bilberry received a cancer diagnosis and began treatment for lymphoma. She walked through cancer like she lived her life, worshipping her Savior, Jesus, with joy, wisdom, grace, and dignity. If you've ever had the pleasure of engaging with Kathryn, you know how her presence radiated wit, grace, and depth, leaving a lasting impression. That’s just who she was!

On the morning of April 19th, Kathryn, with a pure heart and full of faith in Jesus, breathed her last breath on this side of eternity. She opened her eyes to see God. Her faith has become sight. Her hope in the Kingdom to come has become her reality. She is now living in the fullness of love that God has for her.

As the Lord continues to guide and direct Luke and their precious children on this difficult journey, we know that He has and will faithfully carry them now, as they grieve the loss of their precious wife and mother.

Their journey truly started as young kids in high school. Where a beautiful, brown eyed girl with a captivating smile fell in love with a fun-loving, larger than life boy who had quite a load of hair. It was there that a spark to serve together was lit. Fueled by true joy and a passion to worship their Savior, Kathryn and Luke faithfully served the body of Christ everywhere their feet have landed. From the many churches in east Texas, to countless mission trips overseas and now to their indelible home in Michigan, Kathryn and Luke painted a picture of a life surrendered to serving others and serving their King.

The impact that Kathryn, Luke, and each of the Bilberry kids has had on each of us is lasting and has led us to lean more into who God is and his love for humanity. In the last few weeks, many people have asked how they can help support the Bilberry family. We have created this GoFundMe as a tangible way to help support the Bilberry family now and in the future as they walk as a family committed to each other and to Christ.

We want to sincerely thank you for your kindness in caring for the Bilberry’s as they navigate this new chapter in their journey.
