Help Misty, Rhyan & Lennon Rebuild After a Devastating Apartment Fire

On the evening of August 5, around 6:30 p.m., my dear friend Misty and her daughters, Rhyan and Lennon, lost everything when their apartment was completely destroyed by a devastating fire. Their unit was burned to a crisp, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were able to get out with.

After leaving a transition house for women fleeing domestic violence, Misty had finally found stable housing in February. It was a fresh start and a chance for her and her girls to begin rebuilding their lives. They had worked so hard to create a safe home, and in a matter of minutes, everything they owned was gone.

Right now, Misty, Rhyan, and Lennon are staying in a hotel until Saturday morning, but they don't know where they'll go after that. They are now faced with the overwhelming task of finding a new home while replacing everything from clothing and furniture to school supplies and basic everyday necessities.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help ease even a small part of the financial burden they are facing.
