On the evening of August 5, around 6:30 p.m., my dear friend Misty and her daughters, Rhyan and Lennon, lost everything when their apartment was completely destroyed by a devastating fire. Their unit was burned to a crisp, leaving them with nothing but the clothes they were able to get out with.

After leaving a transition house for women fleeing domestic violence, Misty had finally found stable housing in February. It was a fresh start and a chance for her and her girls to begin rebuilding their lives. They had worked so hard to create a safe home, and in a matter of minutes, everything they owned was gone.

Right now, Misty, Rhyan, and Lennon are staying in a hotel until Saturday morning, but they don't know where they'll go after that. They are now faced with the overwhelming task of finding a new home while replacing everything from clothing and furniture to school supplies and basic everyday necessities.

I'm starting this fundraiser to help ease even a small part of the financial burden they are facing. If you're able to donate, no matter the amount, or simply share this fundraiser, it would mean the world. Every act of kindness will help Misty, Rhyan, and Lennon begin rebuilding their lives once again.

Thank you so much for your love, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s be the village this family needs
