Help for Sawyer’s medical bills
Donation protected
I am Sawyer‘s grandmother. Sawyer was born on St. Patrick’s Day and was soon airlifted to Boise, Idaho. She has spent over four weeks in the NICU where they determined she has laryngeomalacia, a condition that prevents her from being able to suck and swallow. She underwent a multitude of diagnostic tests and a surgery to put a feeding tube directly into her stomach. She will need to continue occupational therapy to help her learn how to suck properly. If she drinks regular formula or breast milk, the milk enters her lungs. They have also determined she needs a special formula that will cost $500 a month if they cannot get insurance to cover it. My son lost three weeks of pay in order to be with her in Boise. They do have insurance, thankfully, but the medical bills they will be responsible for both past and future will be very high. If anyone can donate to the family, it would be greatly appreciate it.
