On May 22, 2017, Rui Soares and Chris Sartoretto Slaney lost their home and everything in it. Thankfully, they had just left their condo when the propane tank above their condo blew but, unfortunately, their home and all of their possessions were lost and they have no insurance as they had just recently moved out from Alberta.
