Help For My sister and Stephanie’s kids

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Abbie Hall. I’m starting this fundraiser to benefit my sister Debra (Blossom) Alexander and her grandchildren who recently lost their daughter and mother.

Stephanie (Alexander) Henson
was murdered in Kenai on November 17,2022 on California Avenue.
In a place so full of drug dealers, addicts and violent criminals that are just released to continue to wreak havoc on themselves and our communities, many of us live in fear that that could’ve been our child. It could have been anyone’s child. This time it was ours…..

Stephanie left behind 6 grieving children, a devastated mother, father, brothers, aunties, uncles and cousins.
The last 6 years have been a rollercoaster for the family. What started as a desperate 25 year old woman who wanted to lose weight (many of we woman can relate to the emotional toll of being overweight and the desperate lengths that we go through to be “skinny” that aren’t healthy or safe) to have a better self image and to please a man, ended up with her losing weight and everything else. Including her life…….
We hoped she would go to rehab. We hoped she could be back in the kids’ lives for good. We hoped she could get better……but There is no hope that she will recover. No hope for the kids to see momma for their birthdays and Christmas and Easter or go trick or treating, For one more hug. No chance to call and talk to her to tell her we love her one more time.
Words cannot express how lost and devastated we are.
I should have started this go fund me weeks ago. But I have been pretty raw. I apologize if anything comes out wrong:

I would say that my sister is a struggling single grandma. Anyone who knows her or has even met her once, knows she is a very hard worker and she gives EVERYTHING to her family.

She has been raising 2 of the 6 children For the last 3.5 years. 2 little girls, ages 2&3 years old.
She works 2 jobs to afford daycare and all that comes along with raising preschool age babies. When they get sick, she can’t go to work. Just after Steph’s death, just as my sister was supposed to return to work, the girls both got RSV. This meant that grandma had to stay home for 2 more weeks, because the kids can’t go to daycare. Today they are sick again. Many of you know The struggles……. for the next 16+ years, she has her work cut out for her, but you will rarely hear her complain or ask for help. So I’m asking for her.
If you can afford to donate any amount, know that your money will go a long way to helping ease the burden of a grieving mother and children. At times like this, the only thing worse than the tragic loss of a child, is struggling to survive financially while trying to heal emotionally.
We thank you for your prayers, kind words and donations.
