My name is Valeria, I am 8 years old and I was born with microtia in my right ear. I am studying 3rd grade and I have very naughty 3-year-old twin brothers. I was born in Venezuela and I moved to Miami Florida 4 years ago. I want to have surgery soon to be able to recover my audio because I only have a small percentage of listening at the moment and that affects my attention in class. My parents promised me that I would have an operation. I really want an ear formed so I can be able to lead a life as normal as possible. I am very happy to have my family together since they make me feel as if I lack nothing. My parents went to this media since we don't have the economic capacity to pay for this operation and we don't have insurance to help us but with faith I know that my dream will come true.
