My name is Dorothy Guerrero and I am fundraising for a family who I met a few weeks ago. After being unhoused, and having to resort to spending a night outside at our elementary school, Muriel and her boys, ages 5 and 7, have finally moved into their own apartment and started a new chapter in life.

When my sister met her the morning after they had spent the night outside, Muriel was weary and exhausted—having stayed up all night long to keep watch over her children. Yesterday as she walked into her very own apartment and was handed the keys, we finally saw her take a breath and feel safe. God has answered so many prayers.

But we would like to help this wonderful mom have a foundation so that they will never be in this situation again. If you can give a gift of any size to help them get the essentials they need and have some financial security going into the holidays and the new year, it would mean the world.
