This fund is an extension for friends and family outside of Norway that would like to contribute to Justin and Micha.
Funds raised go to Justin and Micha to help them with greater financial challenges arising from the parachute accident.
This is from Andreas Hemli, Justin’s close friend and business associate. It may not be translated perfectly:
Our beloved jumping buddy, friend and handyman Justin, experienced in September what we all hope will never happen. A low turn with the screen resulted in a very hard landing, several fractures in the neck, hip, and a serious spinal cord injury. Justin is now at Haukeland's spinal unit and will receive help there to start the next chapter in his life. He has certainly kept his good spirits, and displays an optimism and determination that is unbelievably impressive in this hugely demanding situation. He has good people around him, and is looked after by wonderful people both in the hospital, in the parachute environment and by family and friends.
Justin is a single father, and his parents now take turns traveling to Voss from the USA to help with their grandson Micah. Being seriously injured and in need of care hits hard, also financially. With this merger, we want to contribute to Justin being able to focus on becoming as good as possible, without having to worry too much about financial challenges. The money raised will go towards making Justin and Micah's everyday life as easy and safe as possible. Both are active people, and we also hope to be able to contribute to them being able to maintain the active lifestyle, full of small and large joys and experiences together, even if life will look quite different in the future.
Everyone who knows Justin knows that he is a man with a big heart and a lot of care for those around him, and he so deeply deserves that we are now standing up for him and his son. "It takes a village...", and now it's our turn, anything helps, and if you can't contribute personally, please share the link with friends, family and networks.
