My name is Adele, and I am writing this on behalf of my daughter, Hayley Doyle.
As many of you may know, my daughter, Hayley, was misdiagnosed with epilepsy for 4 ½ years. During that time, she was put on several major seizure medications, which were stopped abruptly last October. When this happened, her body began shutting down. For the past 10 months, she, her daughter Dianna and her husband Jason have been fighting for answers as her health has continued to decline. On May 27th, Hayley woke up and could not feel her legs or walk. Since that day, her life — and the life of her family — has changed dramatically.
Hayley has lost much of her independence and quality of life. She as spent months undergoing testing, meeting with specialists, and now preparing for surgery, and still searching for a clear diagnosis. As a family, they have fought to keep their head above water financially, but the financial demands are piling up. Hayley’s greatest wish is to heal so she can once again be active and enjoy things that she has lost the ability to do. The first surgery she needs is completely out-of-pocket, adding even more financial stress on top of the emotional and mental stress they are already experiencing.
Much of the diagnostic testing is either not available locally or classified as out-of-pocket expenses. As a result the medical bills, travel expenses for doctors and treatments, and countless other out-of-pocket costs not covered by insurance are more than the family can manage alone.
Our family’s greatest hope is that Hayley will get the care she needs to heal, regain her strength, and reclaim her life with Jason, Dianna and all of us. Every donation made will go directly toward:
• Medical bills and upcoming surgery
• Out-of-pocket doctors and treatments
• Travel expenses for specialist care
Through all of this, Hayley is fully leaning on her faith. She continues to see God’s amazing work in everything she has faced, even when it’s seemed like there is no hope. A verse she clings to is Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Hayley knows that when she gets through this, it will have been for purpose.
From the bottom of my heart, I am asking for your prayers, support, and, if possible, donations to help Hayley in this time of great need. Even if you cannot give, simply sharing her story would mean so much.
Every prayer, share, and donation is truly a blessing to Hayley, Jason, and Dianna, and will help them take the next steps toward healing and hope.
For those who prefer to give outside of GoFundMe, donations can also be sent directly to Hayley’s Venmo: @HayleyMDoyle.
With thanks, love, prayers and gratitude -
