As many of you know, my daughter Emily, son-in-law Charles, and my grandbabies Wyatt (age 11), Charlie (age 8), and Gracie Jo (age 1) lost their home to a house fire last night. Thankfully, everyone got out safely with no injuries, except for the heartbreaking loss of their parakeet. We are grateful for their safety and praise God for that. The house is a complete loss, and they escaped with only the clothes on their backs, barefoot and in shock.

My grandsons are deeply traumatized by the fire and the loss of the only home they were old enough to remember. Right now, there are so many unknowns and challenges ahead. Many people have reached out, asking how they can help. I was asked to create this GoFundMe, even though I had no idea how to start. Your prayers, kindness, and support mean the world to us as we navigate this difficult time.
