Help for Emal and family settle in Dallas.

My name is Jack Redus and I am sponsoring one of my Afghan partners who directly supported the Dept. of Defense. All proceeds raised will go directly to Emal and his family.
After the disastrous US exit from Afghanistan, the US Embassy fell to Taliban control and the identities of Afghans working with US Forces were revealed to the Taliban. As you can imagine, they were hunted by the Taliban putting them and their family at risk of being murdered or worse.
Unlike many of the people illegally coming into America, Emal and his family followed the immigration process while living in fear. We take so much for granted in America. Living day to day wondering if you and your family will be found and killed is something we can’t imagine.
Emal worked for me and protected US serviceman and women and trained other local Afghans to do the same. We spent many days and nights under mortar and rocket attack all while weeding out Taliban spies who were only there to give away our positions or kill as many of us as they could.
Emal is a great man and has a beautiful family that I am excited to say will finally be arriving next week in Dallas. It will be a HUGE adjustment for them. I am sponsoring him and his family and want to help him build a nest egg to make the transition easier. Funds will help with a down payment for a vehicle, a place to live once his transition is complete, and items for his family that aren’t covered by food stamps and other government assistance.
I hope this speaks to your heart and you take a moment to consider what so many people do to protect our country, EVEN when they aren’t citizens and know it could mean death. Even though our Government turned their back on them, I refuse to do the same.
