Help for Daisy Daycare in Arusha, Tanzania

Hi there

I'm Romina from Switzerland and I founded in March 2024 a daycare in Arusha, Tanzania. We started with 9 kids and now we are happy to welcome 30 kids everyday. I can't believe how fast we are growing! It is a non-profit organisation, so the parents can give their kids to us for free during their work and the small ones have a safe place for playing and growing. We provide the young ones 2 times porridge a day and a warm lunch 5 days a week!

With so many kids it is getting tough with their own belongings. We don't have any space for shoes, clothes or their bags. That's why we need some shelves in the classrooms and at the entrance. Also a small teacher desk for the classroom is needed.

Our carpets where the kids eat on are already a lot used and we need new ones.

The gas cocker exploded during preparing lunch last week, so we need to buy a new one as well...

We are employing 4 people in the daycare and for them we pay them a monthly sallary. We would like to cover that at least for 3 months.

But how can I make sure, that the donations really go into the daycare?

I'm living since January 2024 in Arusha. Since then I'm taking care of all the payments. I'm buying the food for the kids every month, paying the sallary for the staff personally every month and I will go and buy everything that is needed for the daycare. So i always make sure, that the money will go into the right hands.
