Hi my name is Ivy. I am fundraising for the community in Bogo, Cebu, Philippines where I come from.

Last September 30,2025 at 10:00PM when the earth beneath northern Cebu trembled with a force many had never experienced. A magnitude 6.9 earthquake, with its epicenter just 19‑21 km northeast of Bogo City and shockingly shallow only about 5 km deep shook homes, dreams, and safety.

In towns like Bogo, San Remigio, Medellin, and Daanbantayan, lives were lost. Buildings crumbled: churches with their centuries of history, homes that were once safe shelters, bridges, roads, even water reservoirs collapsed. Entire communities were plunged into confusion and grief.

Now, thousands are displaced. Homes are unlivable. Many people are too fearful to return, not knowing what aftershock might bring, whether their house will collapse, whether the next tremor will take more than just bricks. Basic services clean water, stable shelter, medical care are severely strained.
