Help for Carroll: Recovery & Medical Fund
Donation protected
On July 20th, 2025, Carroll Miller, also known as "Butch", was in a horrific motorcycle accident that resulted in him needing life saving surgery and an extensive stay in the ICU.
He was t-boned by a truck 3 miles from his home. Luckily there was someone on the scene who called in the accident and he was rushed into the hospital.
No one knew of his whereabouts for 6 days. So we took to social media to post about him being missing with the hopes that anyone could give us clues as to what happened to him.
It was suggested we reach out to a local Texas news sensation known as Grizzly Hood News and see if she could help.
Less than 12 hours later, I received a phone call from the hospital. The nurse told me a doctor who works there saw Grizzly's post. She was in charge of his case and that gave her the phone numbers needed to get in contact with us.
He arrived at the hospital with a fractured skull, massive swelling and bleeding, his left leg bone completely severed from his ankle, extensive road rash on the entire right side of his body with numerous cuts and bruises all over.
He had already undergone an extensive brain surgery that resulted in his surgeons removing a portion of his skull. He was put on a breathing machine for several days. His doctors cleared him for surgery a couple days later and they were able to go in, reset his leg and attach it back into place with titanium rods.
He hasn't been able to walk and his speech hasn't come back as the part of his head/brain that was operated on is the part that affects his speech and word comprehension.
He will spend another 2 weeks, minimum, in the hospital. After that he'll need to be transferred to a rehab facility where he'll continue a more in depth physical therapy.
No donations are expected by any means but are appreciated beyond words. Your donations will help take care of his home, help with rehab, help his family be able to be there and take care of him.
We are so thankful for all of the help we've already received. We can never thank everyone enough for helping us find him. We will forever be grateful for Texas and how they've helped our family.
