My name is Ryan Boldrin (my neighbor Tracy helped me set this up).
The Gaidai family is greatly in need of love, prayers and support to help them through this very difficult time.
The Gaidai family are dear friends of ours and we have watched their only son, Vlad, grow up over the last 8 years into a bright, articulate and unfailingly polite young man.
My wife and I are hosting Vlad for his senior year of high school here in Ashville.
On Saturday, Aug 17th, Vlad was the passenger in the wrong way driver accident on US 23. Vlad's best friend, Joshua Fyffe Jr. (also a Senior at Teays Valley High School) passed away at the scene of the accident. Vlad was life-flighted to Grant Medical Center Trauma unit in critical condition.
Vlad's parents have flown in from Ukraine and are attending him at the hospital.

Today (Wednesday, August 21st) at about 5:00 pm, our dear friend Vlad Gaidai passed away gently at Grant Medical Center. His parents were by his side at the time. We are heartbroken and will miss him.
I am humbled and eternally grateful for your love, prayers and support of the Gaidai and Fyffe families in this tragedy.
We have lost two very good guys and I personally grieve at not getting to meet the great men they would have become.
