Bladder cancer is now stage 4 and has spread. I am fighting this right now along with kidney disease which started as kidney failure.

This all started last year in May of 2022. Once I had the PET scans they could see other spots in my body where it metastasized. I have a couple spots on my left lung and other places in my body. The bladder tumor has not shrunk significantly. 

I am doing chemo once per week. That will change in two weeks once I have a new PET scan and the doctor changes my chemo drugs. I had a side effect to one of them so we had to stop it temporarily. I am not back on it. So we shall see how I respond. The chemo has been destroying me. It really affects the healthy and good parts of you while also trying to destroy the bad.

Basically chemo doesn’t know the difference in good and bad in your body and just attacks it all. It’s odd how it works but that’s how it works. And both drugs I’m on have serious side effects. I get Keytruda once every three weeks and Padcev each week. 

I will follow this up in a day or so once I get the info I had in my previous fundraiser. It had tech issues and had to be fixed and not everything was transferred over when they helped me create the new fundraiser.
