On Friday, 9/2/22, Robert's niece Brianna Bowman lost her home in the Mills Fire in Siskiyou County. The rapidly spreading fire swept through the city of Weed, CA, Friday afternoon, destroying every house in her Lincoln Heights neighborhood. The family had only minutes to evacuate and left with only the clothes on their backs.

The Bowman family is safe and currently staying with friends, but they have lost EVERYTHING. Brianna is a single mom raising two beautiful daughters.
