Help abused Mother and Children

My sister, Sherlyn, and her sweet children have been abused in the most horrific ways by a man who was supposed to love them, care for them and support them. This had been going on for years, until finally, last year, this monster was locked in jail. After many tears, prayers, counseling, and court dates, the state of Texas decreed a divorce which included the termination of parental rights from this monster. Unfortunately, his time in jail was short and he is back out on the street. Sherlyn and her children are a God loving family who are fearful of retaliation from the person who has forever damaged them.
The small home that they currently live in is falling apart and filled with mold from leaking pipes under their home. The floors and walls are buckled because of the moisture. The mold has caused continued illnesses and headaches making it difficult to live in there.
Sherlyn struggles daily to provide for her children the necessities. She works little cleaning jobs and things with her children by her side to make sure that they are never alone. The children all suffer from anxiety and fear due to their previous circumstances. Her faith and testimony is quickly falling apart as she never thought that she would find herself in a situation like this.
The money raised by this campaign will do many things. It will help them to be able to buy a small, humble home away from the area where her ex-husband and his family live. In so doing, they will also be free of the mold and crumbling home which has been causing them so many health issues. Whatever extra money is donated will be put toward fixing their little mini van and providing clothes for them as most of their clothing has holes and has been exposed to mold.
This is an urgent situation. Our hopes is that we can raise enough money to give this beautiful single mother and her children a fresh start. A new beginning. A life without fear. We hope to have her family out of this home and into a new one within a month. If you can't donate, we will accept prayers on their behalf. We are grateful for all the love and support we can get for them. They are so deserving and need to be shown that there are good people in this world. Thank you!
