Micro-Preemie Wyatt Jensen was born November 12 at 25 weeks weighing in at 1 pound 8.7 ounces and just 12 ¼ inches long. He has been in St. Mary’s NICU in Duluth ever since. It has been a crazy, hard, inspiring NICU journey but he is a strong little fighter. He has overcome pneumonia and other infections and is making great progress, but he is expected to stay there until the end of February.

Due to complications in Amelia’s pregnancy, she had to cut hours and eventually leave her job when she had him. Amelia has been traveling to and from Duluth to spend as much time with Wyatt as she can as well as taking care of his big brother and sister. This has been financially straining.

Wyatt has been diagnosed with chronic lung disease making his immune system weak and making him more susceptible to illnesses and we are unsure of when mom will be able to go back to work.
