Hello, my name is Emily, and I want to raise money to help my family with car repairs and moving expenses. It is for my mother and five kids (ages 2, 3, 13, 16 & 17). They have had a very difficult last couple of years, and we keep trying to make things work on our own, but we need help.

They had to leave their last home suddenly due to unsafe conditions. They have been living with me and family friends for the last year. We were finally able to find and move them into a new home this November.

During these rough few years, we also suffered the loss of our father. Even though we were estranged from him due to the manner in which he treated us during childhood, we are still grieving. His death was unbelievably sudden and tragic and still doesn't feel real to this day.

Since we live far away from our close family, it has been only me and friends helping where we can to give them a stable life. I would love to help them financially, but I am unable to do so with my minimum wage job.

The goal is to help with the cost of the recent move and repairs on the family vehicle. I will be managing any funds raised for this goal mentioned above. Any left-over funds will go towards necessities and towards the kids’ needs and education.
