Help for a grieving mom. Chris Parker memorial

Update: Chris’s service will be held Tuesday August 29, 2023 at the Atkins funeral home in Cloquet, MN. 11:00 am visitation until the 12:00 pm service.

I cannot express my gratitude to each and everyone of you that has helped out. What Patty is going through is nothing short of monstrous and it feels so important to be able to ease the stress in any little way we can. Thank you all.

Hi, I’m Amy, Patty Parker’s niece. As most of you know by now our family suffered another unimaginable loss with the passing of our beloved “larger than life” Chris Parker.

Chris was a friend to all who knew him. He loved his community and was passionate about his work and driving the Proctor school bus for so many years. Losing Chris is a blow to anyone who had the opportunity to let him touch your life. His wit and his humor was a breath of fresh air on the darkest of days. He will be so missed.

As most of you also know this means my auntie Patty has lost two sons now in around 2 years. The grief is crushing, gut wrenching. I want to help her to pay for the expenses associated with unexpected death as well as to be able to take much needed time for herself to even attempt to put any remaining pieces of her heart back together. She’s living a nightmare none of us want to imagine (burying a child) x 2.

All proceeds will go directly to Patty to help her navigate this hellish moment in time.
