We are humbly asking for communities assistance for a family of three who were affected by the fire of apartment house in Portarlington, Co.Laois last Thursday 20/02/2025 early morning. Slawek, Karolina and Patrick lost everything in blazing fires in matter of minutes. They were living there for over 15 years and lost all in a blink of an eye. All of their life belongings, documents, everything consumed by fire, not one item was saved and nothing could be recovered. My brother - Slawek is fighting for his life in the Hospital in Dublin with 25% of his body burned, his recovery will be very long and filled with pain, both physical and mental, road to recovery will last months, maybe years.

Patrick - in his early 20's had to jump through the window on top floor to save his life as the doors and hallway were covered in flames with no other escape route. He fractured his back and is under medical treatment. All of them are currently homeless, seeking shelter wherever they can, with assistance of any good people that can offer any kind of help. We kindly ask for any type of financial donation, anything you can afford, every Euro counts, to secure clothes, medicines, accommodation.
