Hi everyone,

My name is Nicole, and on January 17th my sister-in-law welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Flora, into the world.

Over the past couple of weeks, Flora has been showing some concerning symptoms, and after seeing a pediatrician, my brother William and his wife Emma have been at BC Children’s Hospital for the past week and a half undergoing tests. They will likely need to continue returning for ongoing appointments and specialist care as they navigate the next steps.

During this incredibly difficult time, William wants to be fully present with his wife and newborn while they focus on Flora’s health. As you can imagine, this also comes with financial strain.
