My name is Mark. I, along with a handful of comrades are raising money for a friend that is currently unhoused, and having a hard time in general these days, a friend whose name has a lot of emotional, cultural weight for a number of us old school punks and metal heads coming up in Little Rock/Central Arkansas in the 90’s and early aughts, trying to make sense out of a confusing and at times unforgiving world.

Green Day, Jaw Breaker, Fugazi, Hoover, Buzzoven, Shudder to Think and other bands that played in LR can be attributed to Fletcher Clement among scores and scores of others that bent our minds, lives and showed us a new way to move forward in life.

I am giving back to this person whose contributions to our creative scene have been considerable and I’m confident many of you all out there agree and will help our comrade as well.

Also, housing for everyone is a RIGHT whether one is a friend or foe.
