Help Fix Our Family Car
FB post ( Thanks for the prayers this is my son Dimitrice May 21st at 1:47 a.m. It is his 19th birthday today he was hit by a car yesterday about 7:45ish over there by the dispensary and across from the Burger King he pushed the crosswalk button and most times those things never give you enough time to make it all the way across but he was on his way to help his grandmother clean up and was struck by speeding car he didn't even know that he was hit as well as didn't know that he had broken bones he got hurt pretty bad and I know that highway 24 and 291 is really busy around certain times but I do witness tons of speeders please spread awareness and slow down people we all have somewhere to be and things to do but it's not worth risking your life or someone else's he's going to have a long recovery completely broken his right leg as well as clavicle and collarbone he also has a deep gash in his forehead and scrapes and burns everywhere It hurts really bad to see my child in this condition... I will be here by his side through it all but also have a 7-year-old daughter that has radiation everyday 5 days a week so this is going to be very hard keep sending your prayers they are all well needed.
For the past two months, my family has been facing a challenging situation due to our car being out of service. It needs a timing and water pump kit, and without it, our daily lives have been significantly impacted. Reliable transportation is crucial for us, especially when it comes to taking care of my children and other family members.
My daughter requires regular trips to the hospital for radiation treatment, and without a functioning car, getting her there has been a struggle. Additionally, my son was recently injured while riding his bike, suffering from a broken leg, collar bone, and a brain bleed. Having a car would make it much easier to attend to his needs and appointments. Beyond my children, I also care for my elderly mother and disabled sister, who rely on me for support and transportation.
Fixing our car would mean regaining the ability to provide for my family effectively, ensuring that everyone gets the care and attention they need. We are reaching out for help to cover the repair costs, and any support would be greatly appreciated. Your generosity will make a world of difference in our lives, helping us navigate these challenging times with hope and resilience.
