Hey everyone!

First off, thank you for coming to my page and checking out our story. My name is Katy, and I’m a single mom to 7 year old Noah. We recently moved to Alaska to be closer to family, and I think it took a toll on the family car. I’m currently home full time taking care of Noah, as well as my grandma. I’m super thankful to have this extra time with them both, but it means that income is super limited. My means for income as of late has been DoorDash, Instacart & the like, however unfortunately my car broke down about a month ago and now that income has come to a complete halt. I have prayed on this, talked to friends and have decided the best thing to do is to ask for help. I am hoping to raise enough funds to get my car home (or straight to the mechanic) & hopefully get it repaired so it’ll be drivable again. It runs, but I’m not able to drive it. it seems like it will need a couple of repairs, including the CV axles, and what seems to be the transmission shifter cable. It’s currently stuck at the grocery store down the street. Thankfully we now have a loaner car in the meantime (thank you Annemarie!!!) but I need this car repaired so Noah and I have a reliable vehicle, I can get back to work, and I can get the loaner car back to my aunt.

It’s estimated around $850 to repair the CV axles, $125 to tow the car to my place or to a mechanic in town, and I am unsure of the cost for the transmission shifter cable. But based on my research, it’s looking like it’ll be around $250. I am asking for about $800-1200 to help fund the repairs so we can get the car back up and running.
