Help fix Allen & Paula’s Garage and Heater

Hi everyone! My name is Courtney and I have started a Gofundme page for my mother and father, Allen and Paula Strockbine.

If anyone knows my dad, they know how much he loves his shop and how hard he has worked his ENTIRE life. In February, he has finally retired after working in the movie industry for 30+ years. He was about to be able to start on all his projects, go on trips in his cars/ motorcycles, and be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the retired life!

My dads whole life was in this shop. A lot of memories and everything he has worked for was in this shop. Unfortunately, the roof has collapsed and landed on everything. Most of the cars have beams on them or metal from the building. Most of everything he had in there will be destroyed due to the snow now in the building and the rain we’re about to get.

On top of that, my parents heater has gone out and they still have no power. They have a fireplace, but it does not reach the whole house. My mom has stage 4 bone and brain cancer, so heat is essential for her to stay warm and healthy. She has been staying with me in the mean time in Penn Valley (snow free!). They have a generator but propane is running low and the propane company can’t make it out until Tuesday ( March 14th).
