Help Firefighter Adam Brock Secure a Prosthetic Claw

Good Afternoon,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m looking for support for an extraordinary individual Adam Brock who is currently employed with the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management; one of the entities Arizona relies on to protect our forests, deserts, and watersheds from the threat of wildfires. Adam, who has just been released from the Department of Corrections, worked previously on an esteemed fire crew where he found his passion for Fireline work. Adam was born without a hand and is currently in the process of rebuilding his life and sense of purpose. Although his missing limb has never limited his ambition, it has restricted his abilities on the fire line. Adam exemplifies the qualities we find foundational to wildland service and he could benefit tremendously from the use of a specialized prosthetic. We found a manufacturer capable of making Adam a multi-function high-quality prosthetic that would allow Adam to hold and operate a chainsaw along with increasing his safety and effectiveness in the field overall. Our donation goal for the prosthetic is $8,500.
