Emergency Appeal: Help Firas Al-Hanawi and His Family Survive

My name is Firas Al-Hanawi. My family and I have endured unimaginable suffering and loss. We lost loved ones, were forced from our home after my father was severely injured, and now have no means to care for him. My mother lost her eyesight because of the war and the rockets fired by the occupation, and my father lost his hearing after a bombing.

We faced famine in the north and were pushed to flee south with nothing. We couldn’t afford even basic food or clothes. Many nights we nearly froze to death in our tents because we had no warm clothing.

Weeks went by when we had no food at all. My younger siblings cried themselves to sleep from hunger, and I could do nothing because I simply didn’t have any money to help them.

Today, signs of hunger, extreme fatigue, and exhaustion are visible on all of us. We’re hanging on by a thread.

I am pleading with you from the bottom of my heart please, help us survive. My goal is to raise $10,000 to provide my family with food, warm clothes, medical care, and basic shelter.
