Help Finn Become Bali’s Youngest Community Barber

Donation protected
Imagine a 12-year old Australian kid walking up to a stranger in Bali who can’t afford a haircut, offering them one for free.
That’s Finn Youl’s mission… and you can watch it unfold on TikTok.

Finn isn’t just learning to be a barber. He’s building a real business while giving back to the Balinese community that’s become his home. He’s noticed something: not everyone around him can afford the simple dignity of a fresh haircut.

So Finn’s learning a skill that will let him earn money AND serve those who need it most.

But here’s what makes this different:
Finn has learned Bahasa Indonesia. He’s training with local Indonesian barbers in their language… not as a tourist, but as someone who’s made Bali his home and wants to truly serve his community.

When his mum, a tech founder asked him, “How are you going to make money? You have the whole world at your fingertips…” Finn’s answer was clear: “I’m going to become a barber.”

What We’re Raising: $3,000
This covers:
∙ 4-month Expert Barber training course at W Private Barber School
∙ Complete professional barbering kit (scissors, combs, cape, razors, brushes)
∙ 1 month real barbershop experience with actual customers
∙ Professional certificate
Every dollar goes directly toward Finn’s training and tools.
What You’ll See

Follow @bule_barber on TikTok to watch:
∙ Finn learning from Indonesian barbers (in Bahasa and English!)
∙ His first nervous cuts on real clients
∙ The moment he walks up to strangers offering free haircuts
∙ Their reactions and transformations
This is happening in real time. You’ll see every lesson, every mistake, every success and every free haircut he gives to someone who needed it.

Why This Matters
At 12, Finn’s already figured out what most people never do: the best businesses are built to serve others.

He’s not asking for charity. He’s asking for the chance to learn a skill so he can build something real and use it to give back.

Help us give this young man his start.

One boy. One pair of scissors. A whole community waiting.
