Help Find My Biological Parents
Hi my name is Chelsea!! I was born Nov 1, 1990. I've never been ashamed or embarrassed to tell my story about my adoption. I was adopted from birth a (closed adoption) in North Carolina. I have taken the AncestryDNA test and for the past year researched everyday for hours to find my biological parents or family. I have met and talked with a couple close biological matches who I am super grateful to meet and glad they are trying to help....it just turns out they too have closed adoptions as well(BRICK WALL) lol. Some family matches have declined to help or wont answer my calls or messages which is understandable. It feels like a dead end but I do not want to give up. I was raised by my adoptive parents who do love me but I just want to know a face to name or maybe even a relationship, also to know what medical issues run in my family. I have so many questions and I wont stop till I get the answers I deserve. Ancestry has offered to help me by hiring a pro genealogy team who can help me find them. If I hire a team a professional can often access additional resources more quickly and cheaper. professionals employs a healthy dose of skepticism when necessary. When you've been searching for an answer for a long time, I feel a rush of enthusiasm when I finally uncover a record that appears to hold the key. However, its not always that simple, and what looks obvious on paper can sometimes be a mistake, a duplicate, or a mistranslation. Because it is a very lengthy and expensive process I need some help funding this. I have been documenting everything and will continue share my journey with all my friends, family , and followers on my social media platforms. It is about $135 a hour for each parent which could take months of research depending on different scenarios, but I am willing to wait.
