On October 31st, my husband Leonard Mercury went missing shortly after escaping from Heywood Hospital

Since that moment, our family has been living in heartbreak and uncertainty, not knowing if he’s safe, if he’s hurt, or where he might be.

Local authorities have taken steps, including conducting ground searches, utilizing K9 units, and employing sonar sweeps. However, as the days pass, official efforts have tapered off, and we can’t stop searching. We won’t stop.

This fundraiser will allow us to hire a professional private investigator experienced in missing-person cases, someone who can pursue leads, re-interview witnesses, and expand the search beyond what local resources can cover.
