Austin Leming went missing on December 8th, 2021, from an apartment complex in Kent, WA. His disappearance is completely out of character for him as Austin was excited to spend Christmas with his son Matthew and had already bought Christmas presents for him. Austin loves his son more than anything and would never miss a holiday with him.

The detectives have actively been working on the case for 3 1/2 years and refuse to give up until he is found. I wish that I could share more about the case, but as you know, details of the investigation by law enforcement do not share sensitive information with the public or myself to protect the integrity of the investigation. We are offering a $21,000 reward with Crimestoppers currently, but no credible tips have come in and that is why we would like to increase the reward and perhaps, it is enough incentive for someone to come forward with the information as to where he is. Austin is a father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, and friend. He is known for being hardworking, determined, loving, charming, and an all-around great guy. He is very much loved and missed and his absence is greatly felt with pain and sorrow. At no time in our lives could we have imagined that Austin would literally just disappear and be declared a missing person. Nothing can prepare you for this! You don't get through this; you learn to live with this every single day. Beneath the smiles and laughter, there is always the undercurrent of pain, loss, and sadness. We just want to bring Austin home and heal, find some sense of closure and peace.
