Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe for my sister, who has been raising her son, Lazaro, since he was a newborn. From day one, she stepped into the role of a mother—providing love, stability, guidance, and everything a child needs to thrive. To Lazaro, she is the only mom he has ever known.

My sister and her boyfriend work incredibly hard and have never asked for help. They have always made sure Lazaro has everything he needs and wants. This fundraiser is to help cover the attorney and legal fees required to finalize the adoption and make what already exists in their hearts official in the eyes of the law.

Legal adoption will give Lazaro permanent security, protection, and peace of mind for the future. Unfortunately, attorney fees can be costly, and this is one obstacle standing in the way of completing this beautiful journey.
