Help fill 2 backpacks and get kids set for school!

Hi everyone:

I’ve been helping a family that is new to Edmonton from Ukraine. They came here after first settling in another Canadian city without finding steady work. 

The father now has work, and mom is looking for a job. All the money pays rent, basic food, and gas to get to and from work. 

Today, the mother told me the kids are without fruit and milk as it is too expensive!

I have helped her access regular food resources and pointed her towards aid for emergency needs. 

I want to raise $500 for them to be sure their kids are both set for school and daycare in the end of August. Getting a backpack filled with supplies, indoor and outdoor shoes, along with quality clothing for recess and walking to and from school / daycare is imperative here in Canada.
