Another story of existing while Black. I was recently visiting a friend in Morton Grove, IL. As I waited in my car in the parking lot of his apartment complex, which is open to residents and visitors, I was aggressively approached by a white women, demanding that I tell her, who I was, what I was doing there, who I was waiting for, and so on. I told her I was waiting for a friend, but that just wasn’t good enough. She ultimately called the police, claiming I was being aggressive, on drugs, harassing her, yelling at people, recording people walking in and out, and the list goes on. When I was simply just sitting in my car waiting for my friend to come outside. The police arrived and the situation was addressed, and we all went our separate ways. Videos of the incident were posted and circulated via tiktok (@p.f.daddy). 911 recording was also obtained.

Unfortunately, these situations don’t always end with black men walking away, and I refuse to let her do so and target the next Black man she may come across for simply just existing while being Black. I’m seeking funding to assist with legal fees to sue for defamation of character, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and making a false report with malicious intent. Anything can help and is appreciated, Thank you guys a million.
