Help fight Connor's infection

This is Connor Frey. Connor likes to giggle and wiggle and loves his mom and dad and older brother.
After a trip to the ER, Connor was admitted to Winchester Medical Center on Saturday, February 16th in order for doctors to treat a bad urinary tract infection.
After two days in the hospital, it was discovered that the bacteria affecting Connor was an antibiotic-resistant strain that doesn't respond to most medicines, including the one he had been given. This means that his infection essentially went untreated for two days.
A change in medicine offered some hope at the family being able to leave the hospital after two more days. Unfortunately, that also didn't happen as the second medicine proved to be ineffective as well because the bacteria was discovered to be ESBL (Extended spectrum beta-lactamases). This is a type of enzyme or chemical produced by some bacteria and cause some antibiotics not to work for treating bacterial infections. Common antibiotics are often used to treat bacterial infections. With ESBL infections, these antibiotics can become useless.
Connor's stay at the hospital was extended by a week to ten days as a third medicine was introduced to combat the infection. Luckily, Connor's spirit is high and he's spending his waking hours charming all the nurses and doctors caring for him.
With the length of of time already in the hospital and the amount remaining, the bills will pile up. Help take some of the pressure of these medical bills off the Frey family so they can focus on what is most important: getting Connor well again.
