My best friend in the world has just been kidnapped by his abusive, transphobic parents.

We spent hundreds of dollars and an entire day moving him away from them, called the local police and told them he was leaving of his own accord. The officers requested a new address, and so it was given with the stipulation that it not be shared with his parents.

They are the Davis family - wealthy Kentucky farmers from Morganfield, with connections. They were able to convince a judge that, because he is transgender and autistic, he is not able to care for himself and were able to access the privileged information of his location as a result.

For six years, they have kept him away from the people that loved and accepted him for who he is. They have tried to brainwash him, they have abused him, they have lied to him, and they have treated him like he is diseased. Now, after we finally escaped, they have taken him away again and are seeking permanent conservatorship.

They crossed state lines to bring him back.

The local police here pressured him into making the decision. They lied about me and my motives, made threats that I or others would get arrested, and he eventually bought enough of it to go with them.

Naturally, those same police are saying he "went willingly."

Simply, we need legal help, and that costs money. No mistake, every dollar of this will go towards trying to get this guardianship removed and letting Felix live his life free of his parent's abuse.

I don't know how much will be needed, so I'm setting a modest goal for now. More may be needed later, and I will update this fundraiser appropriately.
