Hello, my name is Felicia Moore, and I would like to share my story. I am a mother of four and a widow. On July 30, 2023, my life changed forever when I became a victim of a drive-by shooting due to mistaken identity, resulting in the loss of everything I held dear. I was shot in the face and have since undergone several surgeries, including a procedure that involved removing a bone from my leg to reconstruct my jaw, chin, and bottom lip. Tragically, I lost my husband on November 3, 2023, shortly after I was discharged from the hospital on September 17, 2023. These events were unimaginable for me, my husband, and our children. Each day, we try to find meaning in our lives amidst the pain. Many people are astonished by my resilience, and I attribute my strength to God, who has kept me here for my children and grandson. I am incredibly thankful to be alive to love him. However, I still have a long journey ahead, and I lack support from family and friends. Some people are uncomfortable with my appearance, which adds to my pain. I know I will never look or feel the same again.

I am determined to raise funds to help my children and me move away from our current living situation, where we were also shot at while inside my home. My goal is to raise $100,000 to relocate my family. If anyone comes across this story, please share it. I am open to speaking with anyone to help spread my message and to find safety in a new home.
