For the past several months, I’ve found myself helping more and more people in my community who are struggling with homelessness. Each time I hand out a meal or a small care package, I see firsthand how much even a little support can mean. It’s inspired me to do more, and now I want to take this effort to the next level by organizing a larger event to feed and support those in need.

With your help, I’ll be able to provide a hot meal that includes pulled pork, sides, and drinks—to people who might otherwise go hungry. Along with food, I’ll be distributing hygiene kits to help with basic needs and support the health and dignity of everyone we reach. These simple items can make a world of difference, offering comfort and hope during tough times.  Cookout is April 18th 2026  from 11am-2pm at the community splash pad in Peru Indiana
