Help feed our Guides - Ambergris Caye, Belize

We here in San Pedro hope this finds you and your family healthy and safe in this time of crisis. Tour Operators and their Guides were not prepared for this pandemic during the height of high season and for everything to come to an abrupt halt. We need you, our friends, our “family”, our past and future guests. We need you now more than ever. We can't do this alone. Our little island survives 100% on Tourism. Tourist have all left since roughly March 15th 2020 and will probably not return until next season in December 2020. We are asking for donations to help feed the staff that where employed by our members and have been affected. We The San Pedro Tour Operators Association have priced out and roughly 1000.00 US a week will “assist" 150 Guides here on the island to “at least” survive in this invisible hurricane with no end in site. This Pandemic.
This will include:
2 lbs of flour
2 lbs of sugar
2 lbs of rice
2 lbs of beans
3 Top Ramen
2 Vienna Sausages
1 loaf of uncut bread
Per Guide
Per Week

Donations are eligible for tax-deduction in the U.S. because they are going to Access to Opportunity, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the U.S., and will be forwarded to SPTOA. 

This will HELP the families to get by and survive until our tourism returns. Our Community is resilient and we will come back, stronger and better than before. But right now to brave this storm we need help. Please help us in this trying time.
